A Police officer attached to FCMB - First City Monument Bank Plc,
Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, allegedly stabbed a man identified as
Oladunjoye Olusola Mathew, infront of his wife and daughter, just
outside the bank he came to withdraw from on 2nd February, 2017.
The policeman stabbed Mathew with a dagger for jumping over a bike, as he was in a hurry to withdraw from the ATM in the overcrowded bank.
He was then rushed to the hospital with a police van, where he was left to take care of the medical bill after losing so much blood.
Since the incident, nothing has been done to bring the officer who stabbed him to book since no one could name him, however, a complaint has been lodged at the at Ibara Police Station and later to MOPOL base in Oke-Ilewo.
