An unidentified pregnant woman has cried out to a popular non-governmental organisation, KBKOnline to help her seek help as she and her husband are infected with Monkeypox disease.
According to a message she sent to the NGO, the woman sent her kids to her mother who is currently having eviction issues.
She added that instead of health workers to help her, they are going around spreading the news that her family is infected with the disease.
The Monkeypox disease which emanated from Bayelsa state has spread to Rivers state, Akwa Ibom state, Imo state, Lagos state.
The government have sought the help of international health agencies such as WHO, and others.
According to reports, there is no cure at the moment.
